I discovered yesterday a possible cause of ‘some’ of the crashes that people are experiencing in MacOS.
If you have a pty/virtual serial port enabled and there is no software connected to the other end (wsjt-x etc.) then v1.0 and earlier of wfview will likely crash eventually. This is due to the pty port ‘blocking’ until the data has been accepted by the remote. The solution is to make sure that you select ‘None’ in the virtual serial port selection if not actually using it.
This has already been addressed and will be fixed in the next release.
