Icom 7410

Installed the new V1.0 release on Win10 (server) and Mac OS v 11.3.1 yesterday.
The Win 10 version by itself (connected via USB to IC-7410) works and is responsive.
I let it stay all night and it remained on frequency.

After connecting the Mac as client, it appears as if the server and Mac client are fighting over frequency control, resulting in wrong frequency being displayed on both WFviewer installs. Frequency change on the Mac client does not get copied to the SW server and radio.
CAT control is lost, audio works. Right bottom indicates IC-7410. rtt: 6 ms, loss (0/1586).
This is the same issue as I’ve seen with the May 18 version.

Hi Reinier.

Yes that matches what I saw on my IC7100, we are looking at some sort of primary/secondary relationship when wfview is connected to a wfview server to mitigate this as both wfview client and wfview server are regularly polling for the same information.

Hi Phil,
Is there a new release planned for managing wfview client/server priority?
Will be happy to resume trying wfview when tghis is solved.

Hi Reinier.

We have certainly made progress with this and connection to rigs like the IC7100 and IC718 works much better, I would assume that the 7410 is also better?

We are planning to make a test release available in the next few days.
