WFView down when push “disconnect from radio” on Xubuntu 22.04LTS with Ubuntu studio basic packs.

After some tries, I can connect wfview to IC-7300, but I push “disconnect from radio” then Wfview crashed. So I can not change settings any more…. I hope to change my audio settings to snd-aloop.

What shouldI next?

WFView version is 2.11 and Build bc40b82 o May 12 2025 at 08:14:47

Sorry, I have some typo.

Xubuntu 22.04LTS → Xubuntu 24.04LTS
WFView version is 2.11 → 2.12

Hi all,

Sorry I am very confused…
WFview 2.12 from full build scripts was crashed on Xubuntu 22.04LTS when push “Disconnect from Radio” is correct.
I suppose 2.12 did not work on 22.04?

Hi Tosy,

Can you please look in /tmp and send us the log file from a crash? That may help. Crash on exit is tricky.

Thanks,

Also, you may as well turn on debug logging and make a fresh log file. Keep it short – connect, then disconnect a few seconds later. That should generate enough of a log that we can figure it out.

Pass wfview the --debug flag to enable the debug-level logging on startup.
