When I use domain remotely, wfview cannot connect

My server uses a 4g module (me909s) to access the Internet and has an ipv6 address. I resolve one of my domain names AAAA to this ipv6 address. When I use ip to access directly, I can connect, but when I use the domain name, I cannot connect. The following is the log when connecting using the domain name
2025-06-02 21:28:12.601 INF udp: Starting udpHandler user: “*" rx latency: 150 tx latency: 150 rx sample rate: 48000 rx codec: 64 tx sample rate: 48000 tx codec: 64

2025-06-02 21:28:12.822 INF default: Setting rig state for wfmain

I have confirmed that the domain name is resolved correctly and this domain name does not contain a record

You did not say what operating system you are using nor what version of wfview you are using. How can we help you without this basic knowledge?

Verify the domain name is correctly represented in the log text. Pay close attention to any extra dots or other characters.

Check to see if that domain name resolves to more than one IP address.

Make sure your operating system’s DNS is working correctly. Some operating systems use local caching which can be problematic.

I’m using version 2.11, the server uses Windows, the client uses linux, I have changed the machine to test, the problem is still the same, I tested the domain name resolution through nslookup and there is no problem

Hello

After “radio” you can see two “. I see two “.
Is the domain name correct?

I’ve hidden my domain name and I’ve confirmed that there is nothing wrong with it

Well, we may have an issue with DNS and IPv6. Sorry about that. I guess for now just manually enter your IPv6 address each time.

I’ll see if I can replicate it here.

IPv6 will definitely not work (as we specifically request an IPv4 address) As no Icom radios support IPv6 I didn’t think it was likely to be an issue…

Thanks for the reply, I really can only enter ipv6 address access at the moment, looking forward to the fixed version

I use tailscale which is very effective.

I have submitted the github PR, please check and merge it

I do not see the merge request, can you send us a link to view it?

Also, it will need to be on gitlab, that is what we are using.
