Long time ham. Started in Boy Scouts back in 1968 when local ham operator got involved in our troop. Was a great time. That caused me to keep with radio when I went into the army. Eventually wound go. ing into Fixed Station Satellite maintenance working on satellite terminals for the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force (back then our army unit was the only one doing depot level repairs on tactical satellite systems). So needless to say when I retired I started working amateur satellites and anything computer related. Finally finished out my career as an Automaton Engineer specializing in communications systems.
