I enjoyed WFview 1.1 and 1.2 with VNC( many thanks!), but I can not relay audio between server and client.
Now, excellent logging system is installed in 1.5, so, I am trying to connect audio between server and client again.
Server is Ubuntu Studio 20.04.03LTS and WFView is 1.5 build with fullbuild-script.sh at 16th Oct. 2022.
WFView 1.5 works fine with USB. I selected audio input and output is as same as remote-operation page.
pulseaudio -D was done by hand.
Server log is here: https://termbin.com/98yr
In the linux log, I see the audio device is set to “default”. This may not be ideal. Please see if you can select the radio’s USB Audio instead. Be sure to disconnect all clients prior to selection. Make sure to press “Save Settings”. You should see the audio device listed in the log too as “USB Audio Codec Burr-Brown” or something similar to that (it is a little different for each platform).
It may work fine once you make those changes on the server.
On your mac, you can use the “secondary meter” selection under Settings on the “User Interface” page to look at TxAudio, RxAudio, and TxRxAudio. This may help you verify that the microphone is selected correctly.
Don’t forget to set the radio’s transmit modulation sources to “USB”.
I check again for Server Setting, and confirm the combo box is back to default. So I change again server’s audio input and output to ALSA something without connection form client.
Also Radio Access’s audio input and output combo box set to ALSA something.
I saved settings and restart the WFView server.
After that I restart WFView server and connect to server again, but no luck.
