1750Hz - Open Repater

ist there any way/function within wfview to open a repeater with classich 1750Hz-Tone?

Hi Boerdi,

There isn’t yet, but we are looking at audio plugins, which may include a tone generator. I think it’s definitely worth considering as we dive into the audio chain. I suppose DTMF would be good too.

You could consider creating an audio file in Audacity and playing that through your audio connection as a file.

How often does a typical tone-burst repeater need to hear the burst?

Good point. That is dependent on the repeater programming. Most in my area need a PL tone continuously, DTMF would be quick and not repeating (I have actually programmed entire repeater controllers by playing a DTMF Recording file back over RF). Easier than messing up a button press in a complex command structure.
