My notebook PC has both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connections, but regardless of where I plug in the USB cable from my 7300, the program ‘USB Device Tree View V3.7.6’ tells me that the connection is USB 1.1.
Everything works ok, including audio, control and the spectrum/waterfall, but I was thinking that the 7300 would be at least USB 2.0. Can anyone confirm?
There is no reason for it to be more than USB1.1 which has a maximum speed of 12 Mbps. It is only carrying a single serial connection with a maximum speed of 115.2 Kbps and two audio streams (TX and RX) each of which require an absolute maximum of 1 Mbps.
