Can't finish Debian install script on Inovato Quadra

Please provide the following information with your question:

  2. Method of download attempted (from wfview.org, package manager, source code, etc):

  4. Method of radio connectivity (USB, WiFi, Ethernet, etc):

  5. Did you check the FAQ and read the manual?

  6. Inovato Quadra with Debian OS.

  7. Debian Install Script from Download page / Github

  8. Icom IC-7300 (never got to running Wfview)

  9. USB

  10. Yes

I follow the video instructions to the letter, including the 3 manually entered commands to change the directory, make the script executable, and then run it. When it asks if I want to also install dependencies, I say YES, even if I’ve already run the script previously, It show that each file is already installed and at the latest version . Then I get this error, every time:

It appears that some needed files are not being found by the script. As a Linux N00b, I am dead in my tracks. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Please try updating your cache before running the script. That will probably resolve the issue:

sudo apt update

This merely updates the list of packages and their URLs. It may be all you need. Then run the script again.
