I’ve just downloaded version 1.1 for Mac but when I try and install it I get the following: “wfview” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.
I’m running Big Sur 11.5.2. I’m sure there is an easy work round, I just don’t know it.
Many thanks in advance

Hi David,
Try this, right-click on the wfview icon and choose “Open”, then a dialog box should appear which allows you to proceed.

Hi David.
Since MacOS Catalina, unsigned applications are automatically denied.
Once this happens, click Apple menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General.
You will need to click the Lock to make changes and it should give you the option to allow the program to run.
Once I have renewed my Apple developer account (and paid the necessary fees!) I should be able to properly sign the app (and get it notarised by Apple) so this step won’t be required.

Many Thanks, all working now
