CI-V Trancieve changing back to off

Of course, Kevin, we can, but that assumes that, without CI-V Transceive, we can find the radio. Which of course depends on the user manually typing in the radio’s address. By that time, half the reason for CI-V Transceive is out the window.

and to be honest, it is time for the creators of other software to fix the issue of handling unsollicited data.

Elliott,

Manually typing in the radio’s address is not necessary here if you are talking about the Radio’s CIV address?

In my case, it finds the IC-7610 CIV address and places 98 in the CIV box located on the settings page of wfview!

I even deleted the 98 (left a blank/empty CIV box) after disconnecting from the radio, saved the new settings, and when I open wfview again, it constantly found the IC-7610’s radio address and placed 98 in in the Radio’s address CIV box every time. It some parts of the world, some would call this FM? All I can do is share my observations on how things are working with wfview and my IC-7610. Can’t speak to any other radio behavior with wfview.

Best regards,
Kevin, WA6JKN
