Connection to IC-9100 crashing?

Just dowloaded the latest 64 bit version of Wfview, Using Windows 11 here.

When I try to connect to the IC-9100 the program just closes, not showing any error message.

I can use RS-BA1 with the same connection parameters, so it must be something wrong in Wfview or may be I am doing something wrong.

Any suggestions?

The workaround for this issue is usually to use the 32bit version of wfview.

That worked. Now just wondering why I have to use the 32 bit version on a 64 bit operating system…strange

We all wonder the same thing! It doesn’t happen for any of the developers, but seems common among many users.
