Debug Remote Server fail to connect?

Ive a happily working wfview (using the build script). I can connect directly to the rig. However icom unhelpfully only allows 2 user id & password combinations so my plan was (for a radio club) to run wfview as remote server.

  1. Rig 50001,2,3
  2. ---->
  3. Wfview on linux serving as 50011,12,13

  4.         ---> 

  5.          Pc running wfview configured to port 50011

I cant establish a connection (point 4 above) and wondered how i might begin to study the log for the (failure) to connect?

I suspect Ive a firewall problem blocking the incomming 50011 etc to point 3 above.

Any pointers much appreciated!

That way of operating isn’t (currently) supported. The wfview server only works with USB connected radios.

Thats a damn quick response and an easy fix for me! No need to look further!
