Thanks for a great program. I am really impressed. I was able to connect my IC-7610 via Ethernet and control it over the Internet easily using the instructions provided. I’ve been using it here at my office for a couple weeks now on a Windows 11 laptop.
Before installing Wfview, I used RealVNC to view the remote PC desktop at my home QTH and run WSJT-X using Commander for radio control (via the virtual COM port over USB). I had no idea I’d still be able to do that while Wfview is also controlling the radio via the Ethernet port but both work at the same time.
Nowhere did I read that I would be able to do this. I can double-click a spot in SpotCollector and QSY the radio to the spot frequency while Wfview is running. I didn’t know this “Dual Control” of the '7610 was possible - using both Ethernet and COM port control at the same time. If this is not documented on the website, maybe it should be. Or perhaps I just didn’t find it yet.
The only thing I’ve not been able to figure out is setting the Custom Edge for the scope while in Fixed Mode, Scroll-C or Scroll-F. No matter what I change it to, nothing happens and it goes back to the settings that were already in there.
