Nice to have: Synchronize the 7300, et al, clock with the computer clock.
Computer clocks can poll an accurate network clock. Synchronizing with the radio would extend the benefit of that accuracy.
I use this short python script to set the time on the radio via CAT commands and it works:

Clock sync for the 7300 is in our code, we just haven’t stuck a button on it yet. I’ve been kind of vacillating between re-drawing the preferences first and adding more buttons.
The sync seems to work pretty well, we are careful to send the update to the radio when the seconds go to zero.
