Help with installation on Ubuntu 20.04

Please provide the following information with your question:

  1. Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04
  2. Method of download attempted (from wfview.org, package manager, source code, etc): from wfview.org
  3. Radio Model: ICOM 7610
  4. Method of radio connectivity (USB, WiFi, Ethernet, etc): Ethernet
  5. Did you check the FAQ and read the manual? yes

After a complete PC reload, I’m trying to install wfview using the binaries and the information in INSTALL_PREBUILT_BINARY. I had to load a few more libraries than are listed there. I’m now getting this error:

./wfview: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.32’ not found (required by ./wfview)

I have /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6

Any suggestions?

Try using the build script on our downloads page. We also have a video on YouTube that shows how to do it.
