I can connect 7610 to WFview just fine with network connection.
My amp (RF-Kit) can use UDP to set band and frequency
Will WFview send UDP commands to amp while connected to 7610??

we don’t support that for the moment and not sure if it will ever.
My antenna gets data from a separate CI-V port and works well this way – does the PA also have that possibility?
Hi Tim,
If that amplifier is designed to connect to the Icom over ethernet and look at UDP CI-V traffic, it may be possible to enable the server in wfview, and have the amplifier connect to the IP address of the computer running wfview. wfview’s radio server is the same protocol as the OEM radio.
The only caveat here is that we have not tested this configuration at all. I do not recall if it even works.
If my understanding is correct in the first paragraph, let us know, it is a feature we might be up for working on.

Hi Tim,
I just tried it. We aren’t quite there yet, but it is a direction we might take things some day. I recommend using the USB port or Remote port for the amplifier for now.

I had serial #1 and serial #23 before this new S model. Great amps lots of ways to connect and continuous improvements.

Here a hint as to how close you are. I can connect via USB to PC in DX commander then enabled net server and amp follows rig.
So I think it would not take much to get it working. May already be there but I can’t even spell network let alone know anything about how to use it hi.

It has in past worked with ci-v to USB cable however there is some new hardware in amp that is conflicting with USB port I am sure it will get fixed. All network connecting would be plus even after it gets fixed. One less cable to not deal with hi,! Less chance for rfi to find a way in!!
