IC-7610 Remote service stopped connecting

Sorry if posting in wrong area. Knew to this site. So, I have been able to remote my IC-7610 for over a year. Then we had the hurricane come through and the internet service was down for 5 days. Well, once the service was fixed I have not been able to remote my radio. Thinking it was a radio issue I bought another IC-7610. Same issue. I checked the ports on my router and nothing changed. I can connect if I plug my laptop into the same network, but when I try either from wifi or another network it says connection fails. I am using the RA-BAS-1 software. If anyone can please help me understand whats going on and what I need to look for and fix.
Thank You,
Steve

Hello. No expert but ill throw in some suggestions to start you off.

How are you trying to remotely access? From another room on your network, or from outside the home?

You mention router: a thought comes to mind; DHCP/Fixed IP address, whats the rigs address?

Im guessing youve set all up as usual and cannot connect to the rig. Describe your setup for us (7610, via ethernet to router, laptop by wifi to router etc)? It will help to understand what is happening.

You say youve a second 7610, did you setup from scratch or copy settings using sd card?

Just a few thoughts to start with!

Which hurricane? Milton or Helene

If your connecting to 7610 from another network, then maybe the IP address you were using to connect to radio has changed since the internet service was repaired.

When you’re on the same network as the 7610 radio, open your laptop and try the site WhatsMyIP.com
The web page will show your public IP address. Did it change from last time?

Also, you say the router config has not changed, but verify under the “Port Forwarding” section in the router that this in play:

Port Description Destination
50001 Control port {radio_ip or PC_IP}
50002 CIV port {radio_ip or PC_IP}
50003 Audio port {radio_ip or PC_IP}

note 1: If there is also a field to enter protocol, use UDP
note 2: By ‘pc_ip’ i mean the PC in control of rig (if youre using one)

Perhaps 'Section 4’ , page 4-4 on the RS-BA1 manual could help : https://icomuk.co.uk/files/icom/PDF/productManual/RS-BA1_manual_ENG_3.pdf

I did not see the mention of ports. If i remember correctlr some purtw have to be setup in the two routers used in the setup via portfordiing.
