Hello All,

My name is Rab (MM7BVP) and im new here. I got fed up with Windows 10/11 and gave up the paid programs such as Win4icom and Icoms own RAS software after i came across wfview and that it worked on linux.

I have WFview working flawlessy on its own but would like to know if any user here has the IC7300 (or any icom) > WFVIEW > CQRLOG > WSJTX all chatting together and playing nicely?

My operating System: Ubuntu Mate 22.04

My Radio Model: IC7300

Connectivity Method : USB audio and CIV Rig control Cable

I have read the manual and documentation but dont notice anything on VCP or linking external apps?
I would really love to keep this install on linux and get rid of my windows pcs.

Any help is kindly welcomed and thanks for your work and time

Perhaps when reading all the documentation, you missed the chapter called “Sharing Control”? This chapter shows how to connect other programs in to wfview to share the radio control. There are several methods, have a read and see what you think.
