ICOM 7610 and ICOM 9700 BOTH IN LAN (ports open)

Please provide the following information with your question:

  1. Operating System: W11/10
  2. Method of download attempted (from wfview.org, package manager, source code, etc): from wfview
  3. Radio Model: 7610 & 9700
  4. Method of radio connectivity (USB, WiFi, Ethernet, etc): LAN
  5. Did you check the FAQ and read the manual? YES
I´m trying open ports 50001 -50002-50003 and IP adress from 7610 is OK running but can not work with 9700 becausse need redirection to the IP in my 9700 and usse the same ports. Sorry in advanced.
i nor know that ports need open and config in this casse to 9700.

Use in both radio’s different ports, I have in use Port 50001-50003 for my IC-7610, Ports 50004-50006 for the IC-9700, Ports 50007-50009 are reserved for a server pc for the IC-7300 and Ports 50010-50012 for an IC-R8600. All rig’s have fixed IP-adresses.

Just be sure that your make portforwardings to the correct internal IP adresses.

I have tried configuring the 9700 and its IP with ports 50004-50005-50006 without success. I have pinged the IP of the 9700 and it is correct. It only works with the 50001-50002-50003.

If it’s working or not is not depending on ports 50001-50003 but it depends on the correct configuration. In the beginning I also was struggling with it but now all my IC-7610, IC-9700 and IC-R8600 are running fine on LAN and WAN

You MUST also change the ports in the radio itself (within the Set/Connectors/LAN) menu. Simply mapping 50004-6 to 50001-3 in your router will not work, as on connection the radio tells the client what ports to use.

Thanks Phill. I already did that without result, I will continue testing until I find out what happens. If you say that this is how it should work, surely I have some error. But I can’t find it. Thanks and any suggestion is welcome.

Already solved.
My mistake was that when entering the ports 50004-50005-50006 in ICOM, it is then necessary to reboot to validate the ports. It´s clear write in the screen of ICOM. (VALID AFTER RESTART)
I’m sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your help.
I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their work and especially the creators of WFVIEW.
I’m sure my annotation here can help someone in the future.
Greetings to all.
