Please provide the following information with your question:

  1. Operating System: win 10
  2. Method of download attempted (from wfview.org, package manager, source code, etc): wfview.org
  3. Radio Make and Model: id-5100a
  4. Method of radio connectivity (USB, WiFi, Ethernet, etc): usb
  5. Did you check the FAQ and read the manual? Yes

I don’t think this radio is on the supported list but wonder if anyone has tried to set up a custom connection? Not sure if this can be done but would appreciate any help available. I’m not a programmer. I use wfview with a R8600. Thanks

It looks like hamlib supports the 5100. You could try a program like flrig or grig.

For memory management, you can use Chirp.
