In the latest 1.6x releases of wfview, we have moved to Qt6 which requires a minimum of MacOS 11 (BigSur). Official support for Mojave ended in 2021.
You can try installing an older version from https://wfview.org/older-downloads/ but if possible I would recommend upgrading your OS (any mac model from 2013 or later ‘should’ take BigSur)
Phil
Many thanks Phil
Will keep trying on the laptop. It is a macbook AIR not sure of its age but I believe 2015
Cheers
Simon
If it’s a 2015 model MacBook Air, it can run Monterey, Ventura requires 2018 or newer and BigSur requires 2013 or newer. You can easily find what model year it is from ‘About this Mac’
Phil
Managed to get big sur on it in the end and now up and running.
Great software.
