Installing public build 2024-08-05 isnt happening regardless.

Hi there , new here but know my way around radio software.
I followed the install instructions to the letter after reading the manual, I also read some other users issues with regard to dll files andr other issues faced.

So…v1.64 installs and runs amazing, kudos guys :wink:
However, whenever i try and and run wfview-master-20240805–03-00-01.exe after placing the file in folder with original wfview.exe i just cannot get it to run. I get every error respectively in that order from those listed in the FAQ

I have added all the .dll files , opus.zip but always end up with the 00000007b error.
Even tried installing to a non-restricted folder C: and also Documents but no joy

Any help appreciated

There’s a dependency or two missing.

Let me check carefully and add anything needed. Opus, for example, will need the opus.dll file for the 32-bit build, not the zip file. But there may be another, I’ll go and see.

Are the daily builds 32 or 64 bit?

I have tried several times to download and run a weekly build with no success.
Win 11 64 bit, wfview 1.64 runs fine.
All the files reside in c:\Windows\Program Files\wfview
I have downloaded the 64-bit dependencies.
And still no joy.
Every time…

The file is there.
I have performed a complete reinstall, reboots, etc… noy joy.

The weekly builds are 32bit so will not work with a 64bit install of wfview.
