Keep radio quiet while listening remotely.

Hi, Group.
Searched the forums and didn’t find anything so I’ll ask.
Using Wfview for remote control is an IC-7300. Works fine.
Is it possible to have the radio remain quiet and still have volume at the remote site? If so, how?

This is what I do (connector in the socket).

But indeed turning the volume down ahead of time will generally work. The AF Gain as used with wfview remote connections does not issue a CI-V command. It merely scales the audio data.

Very old versions of wfview did send CI-V AF Gain commands over network. But I think that was about four years ago.
