Maclogger connects but there is no control

Please provide the following information with your question:

  1. Operating System: MacBook Pro, macOS Sequoia, ver. 15.1.1
  2. Method of download attempted (from wfview.org, package manager, source code, etc): wfview
  3. Radio Model: IC-7300
  4. Method of radio connectivity (USB, WiFi, Ethernet, etc): USB
  5. Did you check the FAQ and read the manual? Yes

wfview connects to the radio and controls the radio. MacLoggerDX connects to Hamlib NET rigctl and is available. However, the VFO doesn’t reflect he freq on the radio and MacLogger will not control the radio. It looks to me like the radio and MacLogger are connect to wfwiew, but the radio info isn’t being passed to MacLogger.

Are you using v2.01 if not, please download that as there are lots of rigctld fixes in there.

If you are, most likely they are using commands that we haven’t implemented yet. If you can open the Log window, and select Debug together with “RigCtl Debug” then try the operation and click Send to termbin.com and let me know the URL you receive, I can take a look.

Phil,

That fixed it! Thank you very much.
