I did a second installation on a laptop with new installed win10 home.
The program brings the error message, that msvcp140.dll is missing.
The visualc++ redistibutable must be installed from the microsoft page but the lastest version (2015-2019) did not help.
why this?

Hi Guenter.
Did you install the x86 version of the Visual C++ redistributable as wfview is x86 (32 bit)?
The correct redistributable will also have been copied into the wfview installation directory so you are best to install that one (the next version will give you the option to install it as part of the installer).

Tnx, I had to install the 32 bit version on the 64 bit laptop … works now

Sorry, I was too fast…
The installation is ok now , but running the program itself: msvcp140_1.dll was missing.
I renamed the dll in the vfview directory but the next error is “aligned_get_default_resource” in Qt5Widgets.dll not found

I uninstalled everything, installed Mixw ( which installed the Visual C library automatically) installed vfview → eberything ok
