I just manually put in /dev/IC7300 (does not even exist on my laptop) and I saved the config.

Yes, the log file now confirms that the server wfview uses the IC7300 device.

Anyways, it works!
Maybe the issue is that the UI does not populate with the manually-supplied serial port. I think the program will respond and use the manually-supplied port though.
