No Spectrum Display using an IC-7610

I don’t see any activity in the spectrum display. I am very new to WfView so I most likely am missing something in the setup. Rig is an IC-7610.

Check your echo back setting

Firstly, I would absolutely recommend using a network (LAN) connection.

If you insist on using USB (which provides a MUCH slower spectrum scope) then Unlink to Remote MUST be selected and you MUST connect at 115,200 any other baud rate is not sufficient.

Never configured the radio for “Network”… Went through and configured the rig, then shut both the radio and WfView down and restarted everything and now I have an active spectrum display. Always fun learning new things!!! Still a work in progress…

Network: you should. Use of an USB connection does not make sense in general.

Also it is easy to set up. Just a general remark.
