Hello again, probably another daft question.
wfview to my 9700 by LAN works well, press transmit on wfview and shows a burst of activity on the waterfall
wfview to my 7300 by USB (via a raspberry), press transmit on wfview and waterfall freezes until its released
Am I missing something?
I think thats correct behaviour. When performing TX over USB (via R-PI) you wont get a waterfall until you unkey. Reason I think is that USB has a small amount of bandwidth, and having waterfall data going over USB while TX audio is also going over USB, makes for contention on the USB bus for resources.
Just like the radio’s screen, this depends on if you are in “edge” or “center” mode.
