I personally use Opus and 16KHz. It’s pretty low bandwidth and of course Opus is much more tolerant of network glitches. About 10 KiB/sec. Also use Half Duplex if your version supports it.
Use whichever audio system (RT, Port? Or Qt) works best on your computer.
I only use the web interface, not sure how new topics work via email only.
