Remote client can't connect server running on Raspi Pi

Dears,

I encounter the following issue.
I have a local Raspi Pi (OS Bullseye 11) running WFView connected via USB to a IC7300. It works fine.
On the local Raspi Pi, the server is enabled.

Remotely (on my homel LAN, not over the Internet), I have a Win10 laptop running WFView.
As from the laptop, I can’t connect the server on the Raspi Pi, though I see in the log of the server some “activity” coming from the ip address of the client.

When I ping the ip address of the server (Raspi Pi) as from the client (laptop), it works but when I ping the ip address of the client (laptop) as from the server (Raspi Pi), it is not successful.

I have no rules in iptables on the Raspi Pi, nor ufw (firewall) running.

When I exchange the Raspi Pi and the Laptop, all works fine. I.e. when the server runs on the laptop connected via USB to the IC7300 and when the Raspi Pi is used as client, then all works OK.

I don’t know where to investigate anymore.
Any idea ?

Hi Gaëtan,

Sometimes windows is configured to not respond to pings, I think that is fairly normal.

Please send us the log file from the client side and let’s have a look together.
