I have wfview working well with usb cable between the 7300 and a laptop.The laptop connected via wifi to the home router. I’m assuming that this will work as the laptop does not have a lan port.
I also assume that the wfview programe acting as the remote host uses the external ip address of the router, in my case 196.186.1.1, and that the user / client will use the ip address that is assigned by the router to the the laptop.
One other thing, there is no rx audio coming from the laptop.
The laptop will become the host at a remote site once all is set up, in meantime my home qth is the remote with a fellow club member acting as the client.
