What’s the proper way to shut down my rig and turn off wfview? I just tried [Disconnect from radio], followed by [Power Off] and then [Exit Program]. The software appeared to freeze and it didn’t shut down the radio because I continued to hear 40m CW.
This seems rather convoluted to me. I suppose there would be times when you want to disconnect from the radio yet keep it going, but none come to mind. My “other” rig control software has a setting that tells it to automatically shut down the radio when you close the software, or you can leave it running. To my caveman brain, that seems like a simpler, more elegant way to do things. Just a thought…
