Hi Ralph,
Since we don’t support Apple’s iOS nor Android yet, you would basically be looking at Windows or Linux tablets. I don’t have experience on either. I think it has been tested on the Microsoft Surface and found to work well, but I am not sure of the details.

Works fine on Surface. But Surface is not a tablet per se. It’s a full-blown windows-machine disguised as a tablet (you can run it without a keyboard).
