Uninstall old ver from linux

How do I uninstall an old version from Ubuntu 22.04 using the terminal. I installed wfview 1.61 from the script. ‘sudo apt purge wfview’ doesn’t do it, says it can’t find wfview. Maybe an uninstall script would be a nice addition. Maybe I just have to run a new script to install a new version without uninstalling the old one.
Thanks,

Hi Bob,

The script doesn’t register with apt/dpkg, so you cannot use the usual remove/purge commands.

If you download and run the script again, the newer version of wfview will simply replace the older one.

Thanks, that answered my post. Great piece of software.
