Using Wfview with Blackhole on macOS

I try to use Wfview to connect WSJTX wirelessly to the IC-705 from macOS.
Audio connections go with the blackhole virtual audio driver (GitHub - ExistentialAudio/BlackHole: BlackHole is a modern macOS virtual audio driver that allows applications to pass audio to other applications with zero additional latency.).

Unfortunately this doesn’t work properly.
When using Wfview 1.1, the output audio from Wfview is not sent to wsjtx, while on Wfview 1.2e it’s the other way around, wsjtx audio is not sent to Wfview.

Best,
Gerrit.

I run blackhole on my MacBook, using the latest release of Wfview for MacOS, and WSJT-X 2.5.4, and it works perfectly on both TX & RX.

It’s probably an issue with the settings on the radio or in one or both of the programs.

thanks, I will check again.
Which version macOS are you using, and which mac processor (M1, Intel)?
For Wfview I think 1.1, according to the screenshot.

Problem finally solved, in the end the connectors were not properly set in FT8 presets.

Hi Gerrit.

Ah yes that will do it. You can also change that within the wfview Settings screen (within Radio Settings if using 1.2e)
