Ver 2, Display REF setting

Ver 2 seems to change the display REF setting on the radio
When you manipulate the the ref, floor settings in wfview
General it raise the REF setting on the radio significantly

Radio is IC-9700

It’s doing exactly what it is designed to do. The REF Level is adjustable between 0 dB and +20 dB in 0.5 dB steps and the slider will adjust it along that range. I can adjust 0.5 dB at a time with the slider.

EDIT: if you just want to adjust the visible scope within wfview, use the Floor and Ceiling controls (this has no impact on the radio)

When I just start wfview and close it again it change the radio REF settings

Not what I expect
And as wfview has more display settings than the radio…is inconvenient that radio settings is change and quite different visually from wfview display visually.

Ah I think I can see what’s happening, the REF on the IC9700 is -20 dB to +20 dB (not 0 dB to 20 dB as I first thought). If it is set to a negative value on the radio, wfview will mis-understand this and set it to the corresponding positive level.

I will add this to the list of things to fix!
