Wfview 2.03 No TX audio and no "Modulation Input" option

Hello all. I am a new wfview and new IC-705 user. I have configured my IC-705 as an Access Point, successfully downloaded 2.03 and gotten good RX. I need to enable TX audio. wfview sees my laptop speakers and mic fine.

I found a web page saying I should select wfview’s “Radio Settings” and modify the “Modulation input:” setting to display “LAN”.

When I go to “Radio Settings”, there is no “Modulation input:” field. Instead, I see “Data off modulation input” and “(Data mod inputs) DATA 1”.

May I receive some further guidance, please?

Just set both of those settings to LAN.

Hi Elliott. Spot on. All is working now. I don’t know where I got the old screen shot from (it must have been a previous version), but your guidance did it. Thank you! -Ev

Glad it’s working for you, W2EV.

I’ve been updating the manual a lot over the past few days, so you may have seen some screenshots from older versions of wfview recently.

Make sure to change them back to “MIC” if you wish to use the microphone connected to the radio later.

Hi,
Following on the same note. I’m running 2.03 to a LAN connected IC-9700. On the radio under MOD Input I have DATA OFF MOD and DATA MOD both set to LAN. However, under Radio Settings in WFView trying to set DATA OFF MOD and DATA MOD to LAN doesn’t seem to work. Both revert to MIC. What am I doing wrong?
