I manage the network. It is a simple wireguard network, no firewall in the network.
Do you use the same mechanism the the kenwood software? When using that, I had to implement a forward with socat to get the sounds data. I tried that tonight as well with no luck.
Everything works for me.
My configuration: IC9700 in remote location, local wfviwe 2.10 W10
Still no AGC adjustment.
Is AGC adjustment going to be added in the future?
I would always recommend trying to connect on the same ‘physical’ network as the radio before trying anything clever with forwards/vpn etc.
wfview uses the same method as the Kenwood software for audio (RTP) but is a different implementation, so will likely not work the same.
ok, sucess, PA does not work, with RT I did get sound. However, WSJT-X did not get any sound with that mode. So I switched everything back and now it works with QT as well. No idea why.
Tomorrow I will test CW with FLDigi and voice.
Thanks anyway for the tips.
sure… however, tonight there was no time to get there where the TS890 is I will try a local installation in the next days.

PS I operate the IC7300s in two remote locations via a bigger VPN for more than a year now, works flawlessly
