I would really like a WFview for android, connecting to radio through bluetooth or WFI.

Rmtctl is an android app for the 705 for a good start here.
Works for the 705 only for noe

note that

a) it doesn’t resolve dns names so you need to use ip addresses instead.
b) there is no on/off function in the application so you need to have the rig on
(esp if you are testing from the internet)

but for the rest… nice app

Hi Alister,

A bit late for this post but there is also an Android App called 705 Remote which is supposed to connect via Bluetooth to control an IC705 (or presumably X6100/6200). I can’t get it to work with my X6200 but you may have more luck, if you have an IC705 (it isn’t clear from the earlier posts which radio you have)…
By the way although WFView on Windows 11 sees the virtual BT Serial ports to the X6200, it can’t connect to them. I expect something special is needed for Bluetooth seruial over USB serial.
