WFview for Yaesu

Is support for Yaesu FTDX devices planned?
Best Wishes

Hi Radek,

We don’t have plans to do so yet. Does that radio provide waterfall over ethernet or USB?

I’m not opposed to it if someone can work out how to do it.

I was taken by surprise when I flipped through the yaesu network module manual for the FTDX101 and the like.
Yes, they have a way of sending the waterfall to the network, and curiously they use something very similar to the icom system, at least seen from the outside.
even use the same ports (and one more)

It remains to be seen whether it is really easy to implement.

Jordi,

This is interesting. Do you know if anyone has documented the protocol?
