WFView working great until latest Win10 update

IC-705, WFView 1.62.

Now it does not show the frequency and the waterfall stops and starts like it is hesitatig.

RX latency shows in red, anywhere from 6 to 40 msec.

RTT is between 134 and 300 msec.

Then I get an error “Connection failed trying to reboot the radio”

If you get into Task Manager, on the Processes tab do you see anything unfamiliar taking up a big chunk of CPU?

Regarding a similar experience I had lately, my Windows update coincided with a network problem developing and so the actual solution was to replace a flaky switch. Perhaps the packet loss was made more visible due to the software update, uncertain, although I’d also installed a firmware update to the fiber interface on the PC about the same time.
